First check your notification settings in the app, then confirm the sender is texting or calling the right number (it’s shown in Settings → Household). If messages still aren’t arriving, email us — carrier-side issues are something we can chase down.

Settings → Household → Invite. They get an email link, sign up, and land in the same feed immediately. There’s no extra charge — one subscription covers the whole household.

It happens — AI triage is good but not perfect. You can reclassify any message from its detail view, and corrections help us tune the system. Always verify codes, amounts, and dates against the original message.

Open the message and choose “Convert to task”. It lands on the list you pick, keeping a link back to the original message so you can always see where it came from. You can also add tasks directly from any list.

That’s deliberate. Shared to-do lists fail when everyone assumes the other person has it, so every Dashi task has exactly one owner. You can reassign at any time by tapping the avatar — but there’s always someone accountable.

Yes. When creating or editing a task, set a repeat rule — daily, weekly, monthly, or a custom interval. Dashi creates the next occurrence automatically when the current one is completed, so recurring bills and chores keep coming back on schedule.

When a message contains a date and time — a dentist voicemail, a school email — Dashi classifies it as an EVENT and offers it as a calendar entry. One tap adds it to your shared agenda. You can also create events by hand for anything that didn’t arrive as a message.

Yes. Settings → Calendar gives you a private ICS feed URL you can subscribe to from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or anything else that reads ICS. Events sync one way, from Dashi into your calendar app. Treat that URL like a password — anyone who has it can read your agenda.

A task is something someone has to do, and it has an owner. An event is something happening at a specific time, and it shows on the shared agenda. A dentist appointment is an event; calling to reschedule it is a task.

Settings → Billing opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can change cards, switch between monthly and annual, or cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Settings → Household → Delete account. This permanently deletes your household’s messages, tasks, events, and chat history. If you get stuck, email us and we’ll take care of it.
