Terms of Service
Last updated: July 16, 2026
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Aequitas Labs (“Dashi,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the Dashi service. By creating an account or joining a household, you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Dashi provides your household with a shared phone number and email address, AI-assisted triage of inbound messages, and shared tasks, lists, calendar, and chat. Household members you invite gain access to your household’s messages and content. You are responsible for who you invite.
3. Subscription, trial, and billing
- Dashi costs $10 per month or $100 per year per household. One subscription covers unlimited household members.
- New accounts get a 30-day free trial. A valid payment card is required to start the trial. Billing begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel first.
- You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not issue prorated refunds for unused time except where required by law.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice before your next billing date.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Dashi to:
- send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or marketing campaigns;
- harass, threaten, defraud, or impersonate anyone;
- violate any law, or transmit content you do not have the right to transmit;
- probe, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service; or
- resell the service or your household number to third parties.
Dashi is built for legitimate household communication — schools, vendors, offices, family logistics. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
5. Telephony rules
- No emergency calling. Your Dashi number does not support 911 or other emergency services. Keep a mobile or landline available for emergencies.
- Messaging compliance. Outbound SMS must comply with applicable telecommunications regulations, including A2P messaging rules and consent requirements (such as the TCPA in the United States). Only message people who expect to hear from your household, and honor opt-out requests.
- Carrier limits. Phone numbers are provisioned through third-party carriers. Numbers may be reclaimed if your account is terminated, and carriers may impose their own filtering or volume limits.
- No robocalling. Automated outbound calling and artificial or prerecorded voice calls are prohibited.
6. Your content
You own your household’s messages and content. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process (including AI classification), and display that content to your household — that’s it. See our privacy policy for details on how content is handled.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time, which permanently deletes your household’s data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk for us or other users, or fail to pay. If we terminate without cause, we will refund any prepaid unused period.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is.” AI classification is helpful but not perfect — verify important details (amounts, dates, codes) against the original message. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every message will be delivered; carriers and email providers can fail in ways outside our control.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aequitas Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the app. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
